Yey! I´m going to London! I haven´t been there properly since 1997 which is stupid considering I´ve been living here for more than seven months now and it´s so close. I just hope it doesn't rain as I´m hoping to do some walking and sight-seeing. The weather here has been gorgeous and I've been taking advantage. I spent about 4 hours on the beach the day before yesterday and got myself a sad little sunburn. Stupid really, I just didn't realise what was happening, playing miss cool with my lemonade and glossy mag :) Anyway, I bought a giant after-sun bottle (and sunscreen) in Boots and hope I get to use it this summer...
I'm only going to London for the day so hope I get to enjoy some of the festival this weekend, maybe go to some open houses (or anything free...). The jogging/diet thing is going ok. They say you are what you eat... if so I´m definately a vegetable. It doesn't sound to good. Frankly, I'd much rather be a Snickers bar....

The festival has begun. Haven´t seen anything yet... apart from the parade from my window. Love the view froom my room :) The beach has been crowded with people for the past few days (bank holiday weekend). Bikini season is coming up so have taken up jogging -I´m just sooo bad at it! I swear I jog about as fast as most people walk. It is embarrasing how long it takes me to pass people and how EVERYONE else jogging passes me at the speed of light it seems. Oh well, at least I get a good view shirtless guys playing football :)

Ahhh I love Starbucks. Seriously, sitting in those big purple couches while having your first cuppa is absolute bliss. We've been meeting up their quite a few times now. Really makes you want to get up. Then of course... I go home and back to bed, making it twice as hard to get up the second time :)

Ahhh... so I'm back in the lab like old times. Just got back from Iceland last night - feels like two seperate lives really. Too bad I have four assignments to hand in on Wednesday. The weather is amazing! Typical of course when you have to do 15 hours of studying a day. I was told it was 27 degrees yesterday! I got back really late and was unpacking my stuff so I didn't go to bed till abou 3 am. The funny thing was that (on a Wednesday) by that time people were still hanging out on the beach and being loud - the weather was just that nice and then there are the holidays of course. Since my room faces the beachfront I had two choices - sleep in a very stuffy room with the windows closed or have the windows open and not being able to fall asleep. Bad. Anyway it's strange - but good to be back :)

Why would someone nominate me for best Brighton blog if they don´t understand what I´m saying? Maybe they think the Finnish thing is cool...
Of course I´m desperate to take part in the Brighton & Hove Virtual Festival. They have my blog on their bloggerlist but think it's in Finnish! It´s Icelandic really... Anyway that blog has been active for more than a year now. It's original purpose was to keep in touch with friends and family oveseas... it's quicker than email and serves as a diary for me as well :) But now I have readers who unfortunately don't speak Icelandic (except for Katerina who can say I love pizza) so this is for them.
